PostSubject: Re: Theatre Workshop   Mon 26 May - 1:17

Hi,

Honestly, I chose this WS because... I have some problems when I have to express myself in english so I'm so shy when I do it. I speak french very well and it realy disturbs me. I want to win this lingual battle. I hope you will help me Smile
Moreover, mayby we can prepare something classical (like Shacespeare or Moliere) but in modern ( and comedy) version. If you need something, I can look for same texts in Poland.

Kisses,

Martyna

PostSubject: question of the play   Mon 26 May - 14:49

Hello Martynia!

If everybody wants to play a classical, it is possible. It gave me an idea : it could be interesting to play the same short passage of a play in different langages, with different feelings. The firs time in franch or English to enable everybody to understantd the play.

What do you think about that?
The others? What's your opinion? Classical play or sketches?

I am meeting the girl who will give you somme theatre pieces of advice during the Week : Tina tonight, i'll tell her about that...

I believe that play a classical is perfect...maybe shakespear or if everybody agrees something a play of ancien greek like Sophocle's Antigon' or Euripide's'Medea'!with the last one we can focuse on the problem of the diversity's acceptance!tell me what u think about it? Very Happy

PostSubject: Classical or not classical?   Tue 27 May - 10:21

Hey everybody! Very Happy

I met Tina yesterday to speak about the theatre workshop and prepare some ideas...

This idea was to work more on citations and differents words from your countries and improvise on it, then, the idea is to put together all good ideas from your improvisations to make a little play. The main argument is that avoid you to learn a text (which is not the funnier part of theatre...) afro

But, if you want a classical, it can match too, the single thing is that you have to bring propositions of play => I can't borrow all the library !!!

We will have a time, monday morning to argue what will be chosen, but it is great to began to exchange mind on the forum, so don't hesitate...

Salut:)
I am not sure about it. In my view, this workshop would be about us-it means about every country, their habits...
So, I think it will be very funny, if everybody prepars some part of drama typical for his or her country. Maybe with understanding will be problem, but we may it in english too...What do you think?

It could be another idea, but to my mind it seems hard to make it understandable if we play a part of 7 differents play...
Anyway think to bring your play if you have somme, it is easier to make when we have lot of options...

Arrow So, think to take
-plays study
-fancy dress / costums pirat santa farao
-accessories
-your imagination

See you soon!!

Hello,

I have one idea.. maybe we can prepare a play which presents the important moments/events of every country and for Europe too. We can strart for exemple by democracy in Athens and finish by presentation of EU.

What do you think?

Kisses,
Marty
